About the Brockton Police Department
The City of Brockton Police Department
presently has 192 sworn members. There are 178 males and 14 female officers. Their
police officers assigned to the Patrol Division, and operations Division which includes; Detectives, Narcotics, Quality of
Life, DARE, GREAT, Elderly Affairs, and Community Education Units. The Brockton Police Department answered over 125,000 calls
for service in 1998.
