Michael Melsky "first became interested in the Lindbergh Kidnapping by listening to his grandfather, Joe Melsky, speak to him about it when he was a child. Joe was a New Jersey State Trooper in 1941 and knew most of the Troopers who worked the case. Michael has been researching Lindbergh Kidnapping since January 2000 and has utilized numerous archives, although his main archival source is the New Jersey State Police Headquarters. He has been acknowledged in many case-related materials and was also a member of the team that produced the posthumous pardon application to President Bush for Ellis H. Parker in 2008. His first book, Volume I of The Dark Corners, was published August 2016 by Infinity Publishing. This was followed by Volume II of The Dark Corners which was published in June 2018, and Volume III of The Dark Corners published in 2019, both published by iUniverse. He is currently working on Volume IV."
