Jim McNeff  "worked in military and civilian law enforcement for thirty-one years. He retired as a police lieutenant with the Fountain Valley Police Department in Orange County, California. He currently serves as the editor-in-chief with Law Enforcement Today. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Southwest University and graduated from the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute as well as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) course, Leadership in Police Organizations. He authored The Spirit behind Badge 145 (WestBow Press, 2013) and Justice Revealed (CrossLink Publishing, 2016). He is married and has three adult children and three grandchildren."

According to the book description of The Spirit behind Badge 145, "We are enamored with stories about cops, but rarely do we get a chance to walk in the shoes of one while reading about the personal and spiritual battles waged when one is fighting crime. Jims narrative will pull you into the moment of each crisis. These stories are the material of movies but they happened in real life.

Jim weaves his experiences into the truth taught in Scripture. Whether or not you are part of the law enforcement community, you will be entertained by the adventures. Regardless of your relationship with Christ, you will be challenged to do something with the claims made by Jesus. There is engaging action in this book, but the serious purpose is that it will serve as a challenging devotional guide and bring you closer to Christ."

According to the book description of Justice Revealed, "Have you ever tried to make sense of the world of the things that happen to you? Try being a cop! Things we see on a daily basis can be frustrating, discouraging, scary, sometimes downright horrifying.

Yet, in the midst of seeing humanity at its worst, we are privileged to see light and love demonstrated in ways that give us hope.

How does a God of ultimate justice put up with so much injustice in the world? How can we as His children, find His peace, His joy, His perspective, His truth, His justice amidst a broken humanity? These questions and more are answered.

Justice Revealed offers you forty-four short devotional thoughts that uniquely weave insights from the frontlines of police service and the criminal justice system with the Bible and the timeless truths of Gods Word. Readers will travel from the squad room to the local church while covering relevant issues like teen pregnancy, cultural snares, and practical elements of faith."
