Joyce is civilian employee for the Township of Shaler Police Department just
outside Pittsburgh, PA. As a writer, she has been published in the Pittsburgh
Post-Gazette, the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Magazine, and the FBI Bulletin. Recently,
she signed with an agent for her first mystery novel, which features an ex-police officer who teaches taekwondo. It's the
first in a series. She is also the Vice-President of the Pittsburgh chapter of
Sisters in Crime and a member of Pennwriters.
