Officer Matthew Bobby started his career with the Westland Police Department at
the age of 15, serving as a police explorer. In 1992, shortly after graduating
John Glenn High School, Officer Bobby was hired by the City of Inkster as an
Auxiliary Firefighter. In 1993, at the age of 20, Officer Bobby reached his
goal to become a police officer for the City of Westland Police Department.
Officer Bobby's career has led him to work many jobs in the police department
including, road patrol, motorcycle officer, youth detective, school resource
officer, SWAT Team Hostage/Crisis Negotiator and crime suppression officer.
