Captain Paul R. Kunkel has a BA from CSU Santa Barbara and an MA from American Public University. He has worked patrol, corrections, as Field Training Officer, major crimes detective, and as a narcotics agent in a county task force. Captain Kunkel has received two awards for heroism, been honored as the Officer of the Year, and as Crime Fighter of the Year. He is a certified jail manager and currently serves as the Chief of Police for a contract city. Captain Paul R. Kunkel, is the author of A Cop's Simple Guide to Promotion Preparation.
