About the Rochester
Police Department
The Rochester Police Department consists of one chief of police, three sergeants, six patrol officers, five part-time
officers, three reserve police officers and one administrative assistant. According to the Rochester Police Department, there
mission statement is “To consistently deliver the highest level of professional law enforcement services to our community,
while assisting in preserving peace and preventing criminal activity through effective partnerships with the citizens we proudly
serve”
