Will Cordes is a retired captain with the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office (Georgia)
and a retired state agent with the Montana Department of Justice. He is a graduate
of the 170th session of the FBI Academy and has written for The Single Shot Exchange, The Police Times and Tactical
Shooting magazines. Will Cordes is the author of two novels, A Man Adrift and A Step to Far.
According to the book description of Will Cordes’ A Step to Far, “Matheson Draper ruled a global business empire.
His shiny black trucks, planes, and ships traveled the far reaches of the world. A remorseless sexual deviate, he went to
great lengths to promote and expand his corporate interests. But sometimes a man's power can corrupt more than just himself.
Todd Milton, state agent for the Montana Criminal Investigation Bureau, was no stranger to murder investigations, but who
would want to kill one of the world's richest men? Or maybe it might be easier to figure out who wouldn't.”
